Project Description

[:nl]Wij hebben het architectonisch ontwerp gemaakt voor een particuliere woning aan het meer van Sisga (Colombia). De woning is gelegen in een heuvelachtig gebied, vlakbij het stuwmeer van Sisga; circa 1,5 uur ten noorden van Bogotá (Colombia). De hoge ligging (2700 meter hoogte) maakt dat het ’s nachts fris kan zijn en overdag vaak erg warm is. De opdracht was om een woning te bouwen met veel natuurlijke en lokale materialen en met veel licht. Het ontwerp speelt met de omgeving. Het uitzicht is gericht op het zuiden en het meer en het vele glas laat de zon binnen schijnen. De noordkant is de achterzijde en deze zijde is bijna gesloten en bestaat uit een leistenen muur die de koude wind tegenhoudt. De warme in het huis wordt extra bewaakt door het groene sedumdak en goede isolatie van de buitenmuren. Een centrale stookplaats zorgt dat het ‘s avonds aangenaam warm is.

De materialen komen uit de omgeving, bijvoorbeeld het hout van het eigen bos is gebruikt om de constructie en wanden te maken en de stenen van de naastgelegen boerderij zijn gebruikt om muren te maken. De beplanting van het sedum dak is zelf gepot.

Programma: particuliere woning[:en]The location of the house  is a hilly area situated near the lake of Sisga (Colombia). Due to the high altitude (2700 meters) of the location it is chilly during the night and warm during day time. We were asked t0 design a house that handles these weather conditions and to use local materials.  Our design plays with the surroundings and environment. The south side is opened and let’s the sun shine in and has a beautiful view on the lake, while the north side is almost closed with a thick stone wall that stands the chilly wind. The materials that are  used are found near the location and the construction is made out of wood. To keep the warmth inside a thick green sedum roof is built.

Program: private house[:es]La localización de la casa responde a la topografía, las condiciones climáticas y a la vista. La fachada sur se abre a la vista y al sol que calienta la casa durante el día mientras en la fachada norte un muro cerrado en piedra del lugar controla el fuerte viento del norte. Los materiales usados son todos provenientes del lugar o la región. Aparte del carácter abierto y cerrado de las distintas fachadas para controlar el clima interior de la casa, un techo verde aporta a mantener la temperatura constante.
