Apple-E-center: Experience, Energy and Expertise

[:nl]Concept: Het voormalige militaire terrein verandert de komende jaren in het Apple-E-center. Het Appel-E-center versterkt de identiteit, de economie en duurzaamheid van het Appelhoogplateau Natz-Schab.  Het project zet in op het versterken van de regionale en lokale economie en het duurzaam opwekken van energie. In de regionale economie draait alles om appels en toerisme en deze worden in het Apple-e-center verbonden door Experience en Expertise ruimte te geven en deze vervolgens te koppelen aan duurzame Energy.

Ontwikkelingsstrategie: Het terrein en het programma wordt organisch ruimtelijk, programmatisch en financieel ontwikkeld door en voor de inwoners en ondernemers van het appelhoogplateau. Afhankelijk van de vraag en het succes van de ontwikkelingen zal nieuw programma worden toegevoegd. Het nieuwe programma moet wel passen binnen het concept van het Apple-E-center. De ontwikkelstrategie gaat dan ook uit van een sterke structuur waarbinnen verschillende functies passen.

Concept: The former military site will change the coming years into the Apple E-center. The Apple-E-center strengthens the identity, economy and sustainability of the apple plateau of Natz-Schab. The project aims to add extra quality to the regional and local economy and promotes sustainable energy production. The regional economy is all about apples and tourism and these are at the Apple-E-Center connected by activities focused at Experience and Expertise and then linked to renewable Energy. A major new attraction for residents, businesses and tourists.

Development strategy: The site and the program will be developed organic ally. This means that the spatial, programmatically and financial development is a response to local demand. New activities will be added if the transformation is a success. The new program has to fit within the concept of the Apple E-center. The development strategy is therefore based on a strong structure which fit different functions.

Click here for the entire text (Dutch only)[:es]Concepto: La transformación propuesta convierte un terreno militar en desuso en un centro para la educación, experiencia y energía del cultivo de manzana, presente en la meseta de Natz-Schnab. Con este centro, la identidad, economía y sostenibilidad del área son reesforzados. La sostenibilidad energética se consigue a través del uso de los restos del cultivo de manzana para la producción de biogas. La sostenibilidad social se logran al reforzar la imagen y el rol de la zona a nivel regional y proveer un centro donde los habitantes y cultivadores del área se forman y actualizan en nuevas técnicas de cultivo de manzana y producción de energía sostenible. El turismo, otra rama importante de la región se conecta a través del nuevo centro con el cultivo de la manzana por medio de la Experiencia. Visitantes experimentan el área, los cultivos y la energía y la población local adquiere experiencia en el centro.
Estrategia de desarrollo: El área será desarrollara progresivamente por los habitantes y empresarios de la meseta. Dependiendo del éxito y la demanda, se ira agregando nuevo programa al terreno siempre y cuando ese nuevo programa se ajuste al concepto mas amplio del Apple E- centro. Se parte entonces de una estructura base fuerte que deja espacio para variados usos.
