In het hele provincie vinden activiteiten plaats rondom fietsen en één van de hoofdactiviteiten is het opening forum.

Namens de Dutch Cycling Embassy spreekt Camila Pinzon op 26 mei 2017 over de Nederlandse en Amsterdamse fietscultuur op BiciBizi. Zij spreekt natuurlijk over het feit waarom fietsen zo populair is in Amsterdam, maar ook wat de kansen zijn voor de economie, gezondheid en toerisme. Hierbij is voor ons natuurlijk ook van belang hoe stedenbouwkundig gezien het fietsen ingepast kan worden in de stad zodat fijnere fietsstraten, gezonde wijken en leefbare steden tot stand komen. Also the Basques want to bike more and therefore, the newspaper El Diario Vasco organizes  on the 26th, 27th and 29th of May BiciBizi in San Sebastian and the province of Gipuzcoa. Throughout the whole province, activities about cycling are organized and the opening event is a conference and debate on the 26th of May.

On behalf of the Dutch Cycling Embassy, Camila Pinzon will speak at BiciBizi about the Dutch cycling culture and why cycling is popular in a city like Amsterdam. She will tell something about the history of cycling and how to promote cycling in cities. Cycling is not only a chance for mobility in the city, but could give a boost to the local economy, add to the health of citizens and stimulate tourism. As an urban planning and urban design office our interest in cycling is also related to the opportunity that cycling offers to create more pleasant streets, healthy neighbourhoods and human cities.

En el país Vasco también se quiere estimular el ciclismo como medio de transporte. Por esta razón, el Diario Vasco organizó del 26 al 29 de mayo el evento BICIBIZI en San Sebastián y en toda la provincia de Gipuzcoa. A lo largo de toda la provincia de organizaron actividades con la bicicleta para distintos grupos y edades. La inauguración de Bicibizi fue una mesa redonda en la cual tomaron parte representantes de movilidad y medio ambiente de la provinicia y de la asociación Kalapié (representante de ciclistas de Gipuzcoa). Camila Pinzón, representando a la embajada holandesa del ciclismo, dio la conferencia inaugural y tomó parte en la discusión de la mesa redonda. Además de hablar sobre las razones que han hecho la bici tan popular en ciudades holandesas como Amsterdam, Camila también habló de lo que esto significa para estimular la economía local, la salud y el turismo. Desde nuestro énfasis en diseño y planeamiento urbano vemos el ciclismo urbano como una herramienta para lograr ciudades mas amables y habitables, y calles y vecindarios a la escala humana.
