[:nl]”De jury van de prijsvraag AM I included? stelde zichzelf de vraag: welke partij kan AM echt verder helpen om een inclusieve stad te realiseren? Daarbij valt unaniem de keuze op de visie van Camila Pinzon Cortes en Pepijn Verpaalen (URBANOS). Dit team slaagt erin om AM anders te laten denken over wie zijzelf is en wie de ander is in de stad. Het centrale begrip ‘empathie’ (voor álle partijen die bij een gebied zijn betrokken) is het startpunt voor een gezamenlijke ontdekkingstocht. De stappen die het team voorstelt, kunnen in de praktijk goed worden uitgewerkt tot een AM-methode,waarbij het gehele bedrijf wordt betrokken. Daarmee komt URBANOS als winnaar van deze matchmaking tevoorschijn”. 

Mooie woorden en natuurlijk zijn wij enorm enthousiast dat wij met onze inzending “Wrijven van subculturen” de internationale prijsvraag AM I included? over de inclusieve stad hebben gewonnen. De prijsvraag had meerdere stappen; het formuleren van een visie, het mondeling presenteren en de laatste vier partijen hebben nog deelgenomen aan een matchmaking om de visie met de jury te bespreken. De prijsvraag is door gebieds- en vastgoedontwikkelaar AM uitgeschreven met als doel innovatie over inclusiviteit in de stad te versterken.

Unanimously choosing the vision of Camila Pinzon Cortes and Pepijn Verpaalen (URBANOS). This team succeeds in making AM think differently about who she is and who the other is in the city. The central concept of empathy (for all parties involved in an area) is the starting point for a joint exploration. In practice, the vision and steps of the team can be well developed into an AM method, involving the entire company, thus bringing URBANOS as the winner of this matchmaking. “

Beautiful words and of course we are very excited that with our submission “Wrijven van Subculturen” (“Rubbing of subcultures”) we have won the international “AM I Included?” competition about the inclusive city. The competition had several steps; the formulation of a vision, a presentation y eight selected teams and a matchmaking to discuss the vision with the jury in which the last four finalists participated. The competition was organized by area and real estate developer AM with the aim of strengthening innovation about inclusiveness in the city.

@credit photo: AM[:es]”El jurado del concurso AM I included? se hizo la pregunta: que equipo puede ayudarnos realmente a llevar a AM a alcanzar una ciudad inclusiva? Por lo tanto la elección de la visión de Camila Pinzon Cortes en Pepijn Verpaalen (URBANOS) fué unánima. Este equipo logra hacer a AM pensar de otra manera sobre quienes somos y quien es el otro en la ciudad. El concepto central de ‘empatía’ (para todos los actores y organizaciones involucradas en un área) es el punto de partida para un exploración conjunta. Los pasos que el equipo propone pueden ser desarrollados en la práctica hasta lograr una metodología propia de AM que involucre a toda la compañía. De esta manera URBANOS surge como el ganador del matchmaking”. 

Una descripción por parte de AM de nuestra visión que nos pone muy contentos, tanto como el hecho de haber sido ganadores del concurso internacional AM I included? con nuestra propuesta  ‘fricciones entre subculturas’. El concurso constaba de varias fases; en la primera fase los participantes formularon una visión sobre la ciudad inclusiva, de las 54 visiones enviadas se eligieron 8 para una presentación al jurado en las oficinas de AM; de esta fase se seleccionaron 4 finalistas que trabajaron la visión en dos casos concretos del portafolio de AM en una jornada de matchmaking. El concurso, iniciado por el desarrollador de área y bienes raíces AM, tiene como objetivo estimular y enriqueces la innovación sobre la ciudad inclusiva.
