[:nl]Het is zo ver; op 22 maart is de eindpresentatie van de Regio van de Toekomst. Het team waar wij deel van uitmaken presenteert hoe de verstedelijkingsopgave van de provincie Zuid-Holland circulair kan worden. De geleerde lessen van dit ruimtelijk ontwerpend onderzoek worden gebruikt voor de Nationale Omgevingsvisie (NOVI). Leidende principes bij de NOVI zijn:

• combineren van functies boven enkelvoudig ruimtegebruik
• kenmerken en identiteit van een gebied centraal
• afwentelen naar tijd en plaats voorkomen.

De kracht van ontwerpers is nodig voor de toekomstige opgaven die vragen om innovatie en integratie. Daarom hebben BNSP en NVTL samen de handschoen opgepakt om Regio van de Toekomst te organiseren.

 [:en]The final presentation of the Region of the Future will take place on the 22nd of march. We were part of the team that did research by design to the spatial implications of the circular economy in the province of Zuid Holland. The lessons learned from this spatial design research are used for the National Environmental Vision (NOVI). The guiding principles at the NOVI are:

   –  combining functions instead of single uses of space
–  local flavor an identity of an area should be central
–  prevent postponing/off-loading in time and place.

The potential of design professionals is needed for future tasks that require innovation and integration. That is why BNSP and NVTL have taken up the challenge together to organize the Region of the Future.

Participamos en el equipo que hizo investigación a través de diseño sobre las implicaciones espaciales de la economía circular en la provincia de Zuid Holland.  Las lecciones aprendidas de esta investigación de diseño espacial surten la nueva Visión Ambiental Nacional (NOVI) que el gobierno nacional prepara en este momento. Los principios rectores en la visión NOVI son:

– Combinar funciones a cambio de usos únicos del espacio.
– Las características e identidad de un área deben ser central.
– Evitar desviar o postponer responsabilidades en tiempo o en lugar.

El potencial de las disciplinas de diseño es necesario para los retos futuros que requieren combinar innovación e integración. Es por eso que BNSP y NVTL han asumido el reto de organizar el trayecto de la Región del Futuro.
