“De haven van 2056: Een walhalla voor recycling” kopte het Parool. Een mooie ambitie waar de gemeente, haven, bedrijven, stedenbouwers en vele anderen hard aan werken. Op dinsdag 14 juni nemen wij u graag mee in deze ambitie en vertellen wij hoe het walhalla gerealiseerd kan worden. De eerste etage van de OBA Oosterdok is de plek waar u welkom bent, want hier staat op de eerste etage de tentoonstelling Volksvlijt 2056 waar alle Amsterdammers over de toekomst van de stad kunnen dromen. Eén van de dromen is de circulaire economie en wat dit betekent voor de haven van Amsterdam. Elke week van de tentoonstelling staat een bepaalde droom centraal. In de week van 13 juni draait alles om de circulaire economie met workshops, lezingen, plastic vissen, debatten en nog een aantal verrassingen.

Op dinsdag 14 juni 2016 om 19:30 bent u welkom voor het volgende programma over de circulaire haven:

19:30-19:45        Introductie door Pepijn Verpaalen (stedenbouwkundig bureau URBANOS) over Volksvlijt 2056 en de circulaire haven

19:45-20:00        Dominique van Ratingen (Economic Board Amsterdam) vertelt hoe kennisinstellingen, overheden en bedrijven in de regio samenwerken aan de circulaire economie.

20:00-20:30        Eveline Jonkhoff (gemeente Amsterdam) laat zien wat in Amsterdam de meest kansrijke waardeketens zijn van o.a. afval en vertelt over de relatie tussen Amsterdam en de haven.

20:30-20:45        Eduard de Visser (Haven van Amsterdam) weet alles van de plannen voor de toekomst van de haven.

De avond sluit af met een een aantal voorbeelden hoe al concreet aan het walhalla wordt gewerkt.

20:45-21:00        Wieteke Weenink van het AEB Amsterdam neemt u mee naar urbanite: het laatste restje afval wordt zeker niet weggegooid.

21:00-21:15        Andre Struker van Waternet sluit de avond af met een biocomposietbak tafel en bank van bermafval en waterplanten. Maar ook uw tuin en keukenafval kan meedoen in de circulaire economie.

U bent van harte welkom op de eerste etage in  de OBA op het Oosterdok. U kunt binnenlopen, maar aanmelden is prettig zodat wij ongeveer weten hoeveel bezoekers komen. Mail hiervoor even naar pepijn@urbanos.nl.

 Woensdagmiddag 15 juni 2016 kunnen kinderen Plastic vissen in de grachten. De dinsdagavond is voor volwassenen, maar op woensdag kunnen de kinderen gaan vissen naar plastic. Vanaf de OBA Oosterdok vertrekt op woensdag 15 juni tussen 13:00 en 17:00 ieder uur de Plastic Whale. Kinderen kunnen gaan vissen naar plastic en krijgen veelbelovende verhalen te horen hoe plastic weer iets nieuws kan worden, zoals de skateboards. Kom dus zeker naar de OBA. Lekker lezen, genieten van de tentoonstelling en een spannende vistocht in de Amsterdamse grachten. Er zijn voor kinderen onder de 12 of zonder diploma zwemvesten aanwezig en elke boot heeft een begeleiders zodat kinderen veilig op pad kunnen.

Donderdagavond 16 juni staat Amsterdam Fossielvrij in de OBA spotlights. Om 20:00 neemt Sven Jense van Amsterdam Fossielvrij je mee in de vraag: kan de haven Amsterdam een snelle energietransitie inzetten? Burgemeester en Wethouders willen namelijk een fossielvrije stad, maar de haven heeft daarmee een enorme uitdaging. Hoe snel kan onze haven Fossielvrij?

The harbour in 2056: a Valhalla for recycling” titled the Parool, the Amsterdam newspaper. The municipality, the harbour, companies, urban planners and many work hard to realize this ambition. On Tuesday 14th of June 2016 we will take you around this ambition and how it can be realized. Please join us at the first floor of the Central Library of Amsterdam, where the exhibition  Volksvlijt 2056 about the dream of inhabitants of Amsterdam about the future of the city and the region takes place. One of these dreams is about the circular economy and what it can mean for the future of the harbour. Each week of the exhibition is dedicated to one of the topics. In the week of 13th is all about the circular economy with workshops, debates, lectures, plastic fishing and more surprises.

Tuesday june 14th will be about the circular harbour with the following program:

19:30-19:45        Intrrduction by Pepijn Verpaalen (urban planning and design office URBANOS) about Volksvlijt 2056 and the circular harbour

19:45-20:00        Dominique van Ratingen (Economic Board Amsterdam) will tell us how knowledge institutions, government and companies work together in the region towards a circular economy

20:00-20:30        Eveline Jonkhoff (gemeente Amsterdam) will show us the most promising value chains, like waste, and the relation between Amsterdam and its harbour

20:30-20:45        Eduard de Visser (Haven van Amsterdam) knows everything about the future plans of the harbour

We will round up the evening with concrete examples which work towards the realization of this Valhalla

20:45-21:00        Wieteke Weenink from the AEB Amsterdam takes us to urbanite where the last bit of waste is certainly not discarded

21:00-21:15        Andre Struker from Waternet rouds up the evening with the biocompost table and the bench from roadside trash and water-plants. Because also your garden and kitchen waste can be part of the circular economy.

Children can go fishing for plastic in the canals on Wednesday afternoon 15 june 2016. The Plastic Whale departs every hour on Wednesday afternoon from the OBA with children to go fishing for plastic in the canals of Amsterdam. While fishing, children hear stories about how plastic can become something new, even a skateboard.

Come and dream about a Fossil Free harbour on the evening of thursday 16th of June 2016. From 20:00 Sven Jense from Amsterdam Fossielvrij takes us around the question about how to accelerate the energy transition of the harbour of Amsterdam. The mayor and aldermen of the city want a fossil free Amsterdam, but this means a huge challenge for the harbour, currently based on oil and coal storage. How fast can the harbour become fossil free?

El periódico de Amsterdam Parool publicó: El puerto en el 2056, un paraíso para reciclaje.  Esta es la ambición hacia la que trabajan el municipio, el puerto, empresas, urbanistas y muchos mas. El martes 14 de junio lo llevamos en esta ambición y le contamos como este paraíso de reciclaje se puede realizar.  El evento se realizará en el primer piso de la biblioteca central de Amsterdam, donde se encuentra en este momento la exposición Volksvlijt 2056, una exposición donde se invita a soñar a los habitantes de Amsterdam sobre el futuro de la ciudad y la región. Uno de estos escenarios soñados es lo que la economía circular puede hacer por el puerto. Cada semana se dedica a uno de los temas de la exposición. En la semana del 13 de junio desarrollaremos talleres, conferencias, debates, pesca de plástico y muchas otras sorpresas alrededor del tema de la economía circular en el puerto.

20:00-20:30        Eveline Jonkhoff (gemeente Amsterdam) nos mostrará las cadenas de valor con mas oportunidades en Amsterdam, por ejemplo los redisuos y su relación con el puerto

20:30-20:45        Eduard de Visser (Haven van Amsterdam) sabe todo sobre los planes para el futuro del puerto

21:00-21:15        Andre Struker de Waternet cerrará la noche con la mesa para compostar y la silla de residuos de la ber,a y plantas acuáticas. Porque también desde su jardín y residuos de la cocina puede hacer parte dela economía circular.

Sea bienveindo en el primero piso de la OBA en Oosterdok, Amsterdam

En la tarde del Miercoles 15 de junio 2016 los niños pueden pescar plástico en los canales de Amsterdam. Como el martes en la noche tenemos una jornada par adultos, el miércoles lo dedicamos a que los niños se familiarizen con la economía circular pescando plástico. Desde la OBA sale cada hora un bote de Plastic Whale. Los niños pueden pescar plástico y escuchar historias sobre como el plástico se puede re-usar y convertir en nuevos productos como patinetas.

El jueves 16 de junio en la noche hablaremos sobre el puerto de Amsterdam FOSSIL FREE. Desde las 20:00 esta invitado a conversar junto con Sven Jense de Amsterdam Fossil free sobre la pregunta si el puerto de Amsterdam puede acelerar su transición de energía? El alcalde y los vicealcaldes quieren una ciudad libre de combustibles fósiles lo cual represeta un reto gigante para el puerto.
